We were just pure-hearted riders, cruising on our Ninja 400 and R3. We’d grab burgers, park our bikes side-by-side by the river, and just watch the world go by in silence.
My friend always used to say, "One day, let’s make it big, get two S1000RRs, and spend all day tuning them together."
In September 2022, he rode off into the distance, still chasing that dream, to a place far beyond my sight.
We never took a single photo together, always brushing it off saying, "Guys don't need pictures." But on his Instagram, I found one - a candid shot of my back he took while we were waiting for a light. That warm gaze was his final gift to me, a 'binocular' I must never let go of to keep his memory in sight.
PROJECT: NUVOLA
This project bears the name of my friend who is now among the clouds, connected to my own name, KLOUD.
This golden S1000RR, built with the same gold fairings as his old R3, is my most desperate yet beautiful tribute - bringing his unfinished dream into reality.
'NUVOLA' is more than just a machine. His breath and our promises live within these golden fairings.
Now, I plan to ride this bike back to that riverbank where we used to go. Not at a reckless, blinding speed, but at the peaceful pace we once shared, side-by-side, taking in the view.
High above the clouds, my friend is always riding with me.
